This weekend was crazy...really no other way to describe it. Gillian started dance Friday evening. Saturday morning she had gymnastics followed by soccer practice. Plus we had errands and a birthday party. It was go go go.
Sunday we had planned to decorate the outside for Halloween and pick the pumpkins from our pumpkin patch. I was excited that the weather cooperated and it didn't rain and it even warmed up by the time we did it. We ended up with 5 pumpkins from 2 plants which we were happy with for the first year.
After we were done decorating, Gillian and I stayed outside. Gillian painted in the driveway and decided she wanted to ride around the driveway. She got her bike for Easter this year and it was rocky at first but then she got good at riding her bike around the development. It's been a bit since she went for a ride so today we told her she could practice in the driveway. I sat in amazement as I watched her get on and off her bike and get herself started and stopping and then started again. All these activities are definintely helping her get stronger.
