Gillian received a pair of roller skates for Easter Grammie and Grampie Miner. I can be honest, I knew she wanted them but really didn't know if they were a good idea. Sometimes her coordination gets the best of her. But she has such an interest in everything and really enjoys trying to learn how to do new stuff that I don't want to discourage her.
They have turned out quite well. I can't say she is a natural but she is definitely giving it a shot....and I think she likes the equipment that goes with it.
When I look at her with her roller skates, knee pads, elbow pads and helmet....all I can think is roller derby!
